Our company has the ability to design and manufacture, according to customer requirements, a drying drum for drying coal with a capacity of 1 ton per hour to 30 tons of coal per hour . If higher productivity is required, our company is ready to offer modular coal drying complexes with a capacity of 60 tons per hour to 500 tons of coal per hour .
For drying, the most optimal size of the pieces is 5-20mm. Coal size up to 40 mm is permissible. Coals larger than 40 mm. dries worse than small pieces of 6-20 mm in size. Coals less than 5 mm in size are very dusty and therefore require a slightly different approach to drying.
FEATURES OF ENERGOTEK DRYERS:
Drying drums for drying coal from our dig can be aggregated with heat generators operating both on gaseous fuel (natural gas, propane-butane mixture), liquid (diesel fuel, fuel oil, various synthetic boiler / furnace fuels, water-coal fuel), solid (wood-burning furnaces, coal furnaces, pulverized coal injection installations). Heat generators operating on natural gas are the easiest to maintain and technologically advanced. They are fully automated and do not require constant monitoring.
The only drawback is the cost of natural gas in Ukraine. The cost of drying is noticeably higher than when working on solid fuels or liquid. The most significant savings can be achieved using solid fuel heat generators. Among them, the best price / cost ratio * technological effectiveness is possessed by a pulverized coal-fired heat generator. And the most economical are heat generators operating on briquettes from sunflower husk or on lumpy (25-100mm) brown coal.

However, heat generators have significant disadvantages.
For example, all heat generators require a stoker for timely fuel supply and ash removal. When using a wood-fired heat generator, it is necessary to constantly monitor the moisture content of the incoming firewood, otherwise the required thermal power for the drying process will be impossible. It also requires a permanent large warehouse for firewood and a firewood preparation area (unloading, sawing, sorting). For example, for a heat generator with a capacity of 1.0 - 1.5 MW, the required amount of firewood is 25-36 cubic meters. per day, which is equivalent to 1 truck. Thus, it turns out that, depending on the wishes and needs of the customer, the type of heat generator used is not always obvious. Sometimes it is more expedient to install a heat generator that runs on diesel fuel, or on natural gas and not have unnecessary trouble.
Also, in addition to the heat generator, for the operation of the drying drum, a smoke exhauster is needed, which ensures the suction of the necessary air for combustion, its passage through the drying drum, cyclone and the evacuation of moisture evaporated from the coal. For each capacity in tons per hour, taking into account the humidity at the inlet and outlet of the drying drum, the rheological properties of coal, the type of coal (gas, long-flame, anthracite, etc.), porosity, etc., a smoke exhauster is specially calculated, designed and manufactured with necessary parameters.
The third necessary element for the correct conduct of the coal drying process is the presence of a dust-precipitating cyclone . Dry coal is a very dusty material and therefore requires a dust collection system. The cyclone parameters depend on the performance of the drying drum, the amount of moisture removed from the material, and the type of heat generator used.
Therefore, in each individual case, depending on the configuration, we select the cyclones individually.
