If a higher productivity is required, our company is ready to offer modular complexes for drying coal sludge with a capacity of 50 tons per hour to 500 tons of sludge per hour.
PECULIARITIES:
Our drying drums for drying coal sludge are aggregated with heat generators operating both on gaseous fuel (natural gas, propane-butane mixture), liquid (diesel fuel, fuel oil, various synthetic boiler / furnace fuels, coal-water fuel), solid (wood-burning furnaces, coal furnaces , installation of pulverized coal injection). Heat generators operating on natural gas are the easiest to maintain and technologically advanced. They are fully automated and do not require constant monitoring. The only drawback is the cost of natural gas in Ukraine. The cost of drying is noticeably higher than when working on solid fuels or liquid. The most significant savings can be achieved using solid fuel heat generators. Among them, the best price / cost ratio x manufacturability has a pulverized coal-fired heat generator. And the lowest cost is obtained when the heat generator operates on lumpy (25-100mm) brown coal.

However, they have significant disadvantages.
So, for example, all heat generators require a stoker for timely fuel supply and ash removal. When using a wood-fired heat generator, it is necessary to constantly monitor the moisture content of the incoming firewood, otherwise the required thermal power for the drying process will be impossible. It also requires a permanent large warehouse for firewood and a firewood preparation area (unloading, sawing, sorting). For example, for a heat generator with a capacity of 1-1.5 MW, the required amount of firewood is 25-37 cubic meters per day, which is equivalent to one truck. Thus, it turns out that, depending on the wishes and needs of the customer, the type of heat generator used is not always obvious. Sometimes it is more expedient to install a heat generator that runs on diesel fuel, or on natural gas and not have unnecessary trouble.
Also, in addition to the heat generator for the operation of the drying drum, a smoke exhauster is needed, which ensures the suction of the necessary air for combustion, its passage through the drying drum, cyclone and the evacuation of moisture evaporated from the coal sludge. For each capacity in tons per hour, taking into account the humidity at the inlet and outlet of the drying drum, the rheological properties of coal sludge, the type of coal (gas, long-flame, anthracite, etc.), porosity, etc., a smoke exhauster is specially calculated, designed and manufactured with the required parameters.
The third necessary element for the correct management of the process of drying coal sludge is the presence of a dust-precipitating cyclone . Dry coal sludge is a very dusty and explosive material and therefore requires a dust deposition system. The cyclone parameters depend on the performance of the drying drum, the amount of moisture removed from the material, the type of heat generator.
Therefore, in each individual case, depending on the configuration, we select the cyclones individually.
