FEATURES OF BUCKET ELEVATORS:
A bucket elevator (bucket elevator) is a vertically closed traction element such as a belt or chain; load-carrying elements - buckets are rigidly attached to it. Buckets can be either plastic, made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, or metal, at the customer's choice. The traction element bends around two drums, upper and lower; the upper one is driven, the lower one is tensioning.
The tension drum creates the initial tension, and the drive drum sets the traction element in motion, and the buckets begin to lift up. In the lower part, the elevator (elevator) has a loading branch pipe through which bulk cargo is fed. Then it is loaded into buckets, rises in them to the upper drum and there it is unloaded into the branch pipe of the upper part of the elevator (elevator).
