Corrugated flat-bottomed silos

The metal container of the silo is made of a thin sheet shell and reinforced with a rack frame on a concrete base. The silo has a conical roof.

Purpose of silos:

  • Reception and storage of grain for a long time with the ability to monitor the temperature;

  • Loading and unloading grain with level control;

  • Protection of grain from spoilage.

Silos can have a usable volume of 140 to 9410 m3. Galvanizing density - 450 g / m2. Maximum diameter - 20.2 m, cylinder height - 28.06 m, total silo height - 32.76 m.

  • The rafter roof is made of sheets with a thickness of 1.5-3 mm. The sheets are sealed with a vulcanizing mass and protect the silo from moisture ingress. The bolts for fastening the lower side segments have special gaskets for sealing, while the sheets in the lower rows of the side walls are thicker.

  • There are openings for unloading grain in the concrete floor of the silo. Unloading is carried out using a conveyor, the capacity of which can be adjusted in the range from 20 to 100 t / h. The special auger allows full unloading with a capacity (up to 80 t / h).

  • For ventilation of grain, external fans are provided, which supply 8 m³ of air per hour per ton of grain. Air passes through the grain, ventilates it and is drawn out by means of a turbofan and ventilators (deflectors) installed on the silo roof.

  • Silos "Amkodor" can be equipped with sensors of levels, grain temperature, as well as a system for measuring, visualizing and archiving parameters with the ability to display data on a computer screen. Important structural elements are also a flight staircase with rest areas, entrance doors and a roof hatch. Grain samples can be taken from the bottom of the silo.
